C2C Challenge - 140 miles

The world-famous C2C cycle route traverses northern England from Coast to Coast taking in the magnificent scenery of the Lake District and the north Pennines.

The flagship event of our program which has featured in July for the last three years running is the C2C Challenge ride, all well supported.

Participants and their bikes will be bussed from Sunderland to Whitehaven early on Saturday morning in time for them to cycle back 70 miles to Alston where their luggage will be waiting at a spectacular riverside campsite. 

Another early start on the Sunday morning leading to a swift breakfast and departure for the second half of the ride to finish on the North Sea Coast at Sunderland.

Price of £75 includes transfer to Whitehaven, luggage transfers on both days, campsite and breakfast at Alston, and emergency support on road.
